This website streamlines my thoughts into text format. While I try to be informative, it’s rather opinionated and definitely not neutral. There used to be a blog under “eternal-monologue.net” and a git repository under “git.eternal-monologue.net”. The former is gone for good, the latter will return as soon as I set up Cgit with OpenBSD’s httpd(8).

A few words on the author

I’m Filip, though on most of the Internet you’ll encounter me as “swampman” or “swampman44”. I’m a hobby/recreational programmer for the most part. The most interesting programming languages to me are C99, Common Lisp, and Forth, of which I know C the best, but find Common Lisp and Forth by a long stretch more interesting due to their elegance and expressiveness. Besides computers, I’m interested in neolithic and bronze age history (or pre-history rather). Maybe I’ll write some texts on this too, however, I don’t want to promise too much and never deliver, so I prefer to not announce things like this. Other fields of interest include: rare electronics tinkering, radio, Solitaire (the card game), and music of various kinds (vaporwave, chiptune, some rock, noise, punk, and other loud music).
